(1887 - 1941) Reichsminister of Church Affairs, and Minister of Justice in Prussia who forbade Jewish lawyers from practicing and declared Adolf Hitler to be the 'Holy Ghost'. Very late T.L.S. on his imprinted letterhead, 1p. legal folio, Berlin, Dec. 5, 1941. Just nine days before his death, Kerrl writes to Hitler’s chief bodyguard Wilhelm Bruckner to thank him for birthday wishes. Folds, with a .5 in. tear at right margin on central fold, else very good.
