(1894 - 1979) General of the Waffen-SS who commanded the SS Cavalry Division 'Florian Geyer' in rear security operations ('bandit fighting') in the Soviet Union. Fine content A.D.S. signed twice, 1p. 4to., [n.p., n.d., apparently pre-war], a partly-printed 'Fuhrer-Fragebogen' completely filled-in and signed at top and bottom in which Bittrich notes biographical details, military service, NSDAP political efforts, his receipt of both classes of the Iron Cross, etc. File holes and some minor edge tears, else fine condition.
