Description
A group of approx. 37 letters written by German soldier Emil Gasser from 1943-1948, in most part to Lotti Hubner in Herseburg, most with sentimental and romantic content. Gasser pens in a legible if not perhaps even elegant hand, and adorns his letters with fanciful renditions of Blackletter font, hearts, sketches, and so forth. Most with original covers, in fair to fragile/torn state, should be viewed.
