Description

Southeast Asia, Philippines, Ifugao, ca. early 20th century CE. Handsome original antique Filipino hunters backpack. Made of split rattan with hardwood reinforcement inside, bamboo reinforcements at the bottom, and covered with Abnut Palm fibers to make the basket rainproof. Size 24" H

Condition

Very good overall condition with an aged patina throughout.
