1st Republic Flag & Sword Set

Description

Fantastic patriotic First Republic flag (probably made circa 1920-30) together with original 1st Republic Sword offered as a wonderful symbolic set. Handle in brass with tri-bar guard over the grip and single downturned quillion. The Chappe below the guard with original Philippines engraved foliate decoration above a triangular sun and three six pointed stars to either side. Blade single edged with wide shallow fuller to the top section. Grip carabao horn with inlaid irregular squares in mother of pearl. One of a kind set! Sword overall 22.5" , Blade 17.5", Flag Approximately Overall 54.25"
