Pair of Alt, Beck & Gottschalk turned shoulder head dolls with CLOSED MOUTHS. Doll 1) 22" 698 with stationary blue eyes, curly blonde mohair wig. Pin jointed leather body with bisque lower arms, papier mache lower legs. Dressed in antique clothing - cotton print dress, chemise, pantaloons. Wool flannel petticoat with embroidered trim. White leather shoes. Decorated vintage hat. Condition: kiln specks otherwise, nothing observed on bisque. Doll 2) 21" is unmarked. Stationary brown eyes. Curly blonde mohair wig. Leather gusseted body with bisque lower arms. Dressed in antique white cotton clothing - dotted Swiss dress, bonnet, under dress, petticoat. Knit panties/shirt, socks. Ivory oilcloth shoes. Condition: nothing observed on bisque. Leather body has been repaired. Age loss on clothing. This lot is being sold AS IS. NOTE: always look at these antique dolls for the clothing, wigs and shoes.
