Description

THREE CARVED OPPOSING HEAD BRACELETS. Including a very fine opposing lion-heads bracelet, the eyes set with cut emeralds, and each with a gold necklace set with a cut amethyst or ruby, possibly by Gay Frères or Van Cleef & Arpels. Outside diameter 3.5 inches (9cm). Together with an opposing foo-lion bracelet, outside diameter 3.75 inches (9.6cm), and a twist-carved opposing ram's-head bracelet with inlaid silver-gilt banding, outside diameter 3.25 inches (8.5cm). Condition

The example depicted lower left is in overall good condition, some dirt built up on interior consistent with age. Upper center overall good condition, some discoloration on interior consistent with age and use. Lower right appears to have been reglued where the interlocking dragon heads meet, otherwise in good condition.
