Copper Whale Weathervane

Description

Mid-20th C. Handmade folk art style full-bodied weathervane in the form of a sperm whale. 21 1/2" high x 46" wide.

Provenance: From a Newport, Rhode Island collection.
Shows several dents and wear. Also shows and old make-do repair to tail as well as several splits along the seam.
