Early H.C. Brush Trolling Float

Description

Including its original scalloped brass cap, base washer and cork body, the 2 1/4" brass spinner is nickel plated and stamped "H.C. Brush Float Pat. Aug. 22. 76. Brush's Mills, N.Y.". The blade is in Ex- condition with wear and tiny flakes to the red paint on the reverse, the cork with chips and no paint. From Brush's Mills, considered by some to be the first patented wood bait.
