Description

Carved wooden half-hull model of the Gloucester fishing schooner Elsie. Executed in cherry, maple, and walnut on a maple backboard, with brass title plaque reading “Elsie – Gloucester Fisherman – 1910.” The reverse inscribed and dated by the maker (Eugene L. Larson, 1989), and bearing a Model Ship Marina (Alexandria, Virginia) label. Dimensions approx. 22 3/4" x 6".
