An Indian Burden strap with red dyed weaving and fiber weaving straps. 2” wide x 28” long without ties; ties 27” & 10” long (torn off long ago.) Part of one strap is broken off and missing. Iroquois, Oneida Indian. From the Roy H. Robinson Collection. Roy’s old tag: N.Y. state, acquired by Roy in 3-20-25, it was much older then. circa. 1820-1850.
