Large Classical Triple-Arch Open Bookcase

Description

Impressive large-scale Classical Revival style open bookcase featuring a three-section architectural form with molded cornice, carved rope and acanthus-style detailing, fluted pilasters, and elegant arched upper openings. Constructed in a warm medium walnut-toned finish, the case offers multiple fixed display shelves across three vertical bays, making it ideal for books, collectibles, or decorative display. The substantial design reflects late 20th century traditional furniture inspired by Neoclassical and Renaissance Revival library cabinetry. Decorative carved capitals, stepped crown molding, and paneled construction add to its stately appearance. Condition is very good overall with light expected surface wear, scuffs, and small finish imperfections consistent with use, but presents attractively and appears structurally sound. Measures 85"H x 89"W x 16"D.
