Eagle head hilted sword or hanger, early to mid 19th century. Straight single edged steel blade with etched and partially gilt foliate decoration and “Warranted” (partially legible) banner at the forte, cast eagle head pommel, carved stag antler grip, probably American or English, damage / losses to guard, some surface wear, oxidation, and scattered pitting. Total L: approx. 37 3/4".
