Description
20th Century Fox 1956; a group of 17 typed loose-leaf half-sheets of dialogue from the star's drama; Marilyn's handwritten notes appear on the verso of one page only in both pencil and red ballpoint ink, evidently "notes to self" while on set, they read in part "tiredness - headache / ...I don't want to be here / look far away to get away / ...first scene with Vera / I tell it as a / fairy tale / once upon a time / ...sense of doom / ...headache / and wondering to myself / how did I get here" among a few others; the sides themselves have a number of other handwritten annotations penned throughout in red ballpoint ink in Paula Strasberg's hand -- overall a great insight into Marilyn's process as she approached a role as a Method actor.
