The taller is a ceramic vase designed in the shape of a shell ('muschel') on a pedestal base adorned with relief seaweed or underwater details, and with impressed 'T.S' mark to base, likely for Thomas Victor Sergent, c. 1870, and the other an English Majolica sculpture designed as a cluster of shells, with impressed marking to base - h. 6 x w. 6 x d. 4.5 in.
