This group consists of handheld dexterity puzzle games titled Nervous Breakdown, manufactured by Kohner Bros., Inc. of East Paterson, New Jersey. Each unit features a copyright date of 1968 on the attached header card. The games are constructed with molded black plastic bodies and clear plastic top windows that reveal the puzzle interiors. The internal components include small metal balls and colorful graphic inserts. The collection contains two separate game variations: the Test Tube variation (model No. 7972 F) featuring pink or red header cards and yellow and red test tube graphics, and the Cup variation (model No. 7972 A) featuring blue header cards and graphics of various kitchenware. Each puzzle is topped with an original printed cardboard header card which includes the manufacturer name and title on the front, with five variations of play instructions listed on the reverse. A white paper label is affixed to the front of each plastic housing with instructions to hold the box upright at eye level and tilt slowly.
