Gerd Winner

Signed lower right: Winner. Mat. Framed under Plexiglas. Winner attended the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Berlin from 1956-62 and was a master student of Werner Volkert. From 1975 to 2002, he held the chair for painting and graphics at the State Academy in Munich. In 1998, he achieved high international attention with his screen printing cycles on Berlin, London and New York. Winner's works are represented in international collections, including the MoMA in New York.
