Gerd Winner

Winner attended the Berlin University of Arts from 1956-62 and was a master student of Werner Volkert. From 1975 to 2002, he held the chair for painting and graphic arts at the State Academy in Munich. In 1998, he achieved high international attention with his screen printing cycles on Berlin, London, and New York. Winner's works are represented in international collections, including the MoMA in New York.
