(Chicago Tribune, 1965) The original three-panel art for the April 23, 1965, Mr. Magoo comic strip in The Chicago Tribune by Pete Alvarado. Along with his comic work, Alvarado's prolific career included animating for Disney, Warner Bros., and Hanna-Barbera. Accomplished in paint and marker, the 7.25" x 23.25" artwork is in very good condition with wear from production use, including pinholes from display, paint cracks, and discoloration from age.
