A rare two-piece curlew decoy with tight feathering and a "C. Gardner" brand on the flat underside. This rig has drawn associations with David Goodspeed of Duxbury, MA, and the Morton rig of Nantucket.
Original paint with even gunning wear and a replaced bill.
