A collection of Fitz and Floyd ceramics in the Pilgrims Progress pattern, dated 1990. The set includes a large round serving platter and a pair of figural salt and pepper shakers. The platter is designed with a white, relief-molded basketweave pattern across the face. Its rim is decorated with three dimensional clusters of autumn harvest motifs in shades of red and yellow. The salt and pepper shakers are modeled as a pilgrim couple. The male figure wears a blue coat and buckled hat and is depicted holding a book titled RECIPES. The female figure is dressed in a matching blue dress and white apron, shown carrying a large turkey and a small axe. All pieces are crafted from earthenware with hand-painted glaze decoration. The underside of the platter and both shakers are incised with the mark © FF 1990. Each piece retains a paper or foil sticker reading FF TAIWAN, and the shakers include stickers reading Hand Painted. The items are accompanied by their original blue manufacturer's boxes featuring the FF logo pattern and descriptive labels. Platter diameter: approximately 12 inches Shaker height: approximately 4.5 inches. The set is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The original manufacturer's boxes show minor shelf wear and age-related toning.
