Oriental Bone Carving Figural Bust

Description

A striking African-style figural bust hand-carved from a single dense piece of material, executed as an oriental bone carving. The piece depicts a stylized female figure with highly refined facial features, featuring elongated downcast eyes, structured high cheekbones, and an elaborate traditional coiffure drawn up into a tall, textured topknot. The front and sides of the carving are finely polished to a smooth, warm cream finish. The back intentionally preserves the natural, weathered curvature and rugged exterior texture of the original material, marked by subtle longitudinal graining. The flat-cut base clearly showcases the organic internal core structure and carries a small orange inventory sticker.
