PRESSED PANELED COLOGNE BOTTLE

Description

PRESSED PANELED COLOGNE BOTTLE, deep amethyst. hexagonal cone shape that tapers toward the mouth, panel-cut body, and shoulders meet at a hexagonal ring below a petal-styled mouth with a flat base and a pointed panel-cut stopper. Neither piece is numbered. Second half 19th century. 6 7/8" HOA, 2 1/4" D base.
Catalogue Note: Bears a "NE GLASS CO" acid mark on base which is inauthentic and not a historically accurate mark for the New England Glass Co.
