HEAVY HEXAGONAL PRESSED OPEN SALT, deep cobalt blue, urn form with stepped plain rim, raised on a conforming stem and circular foot with factory-polished mold lines and pontil mark. Probably Midwestern. 1840-1860. 3 1/4" H, 3 1/2" DOA rim, 2 1/2" D foot.
