Description

Continental, 19th century.

A finely detailed continental majolica or palissy ware pitcher. The ewer has hand applied foliate and acorn motifs the body. The handle constructed of an intertwining tree branch and a removable lid with rosette finial. Marked to underside by an unidentified maker.
