Description
Vintage mid 20th century tall pottery pitcher by Joel Edwards (1923 - 2007) California. Signed on bottom, tan bisque with white stripes and white glazed interior. Well known Californian potter he studied at the Brooklyn Museum School in Brooklyn, New York and MFA Otis Art Institute (now Otis College of Art and Design) in Los Angeles, California. Edwards was a student of Peter Voulkos at Otis. He also studied under Marguerite Wildenhain and Soji Hamada. Some crazing to interior glaze.
