Antique Hand Made Oak Chess / Games Table

Fabulous antique c.1890's oak games table! Great looking table, nicely carved and turned walnut base, with an oak table top and hand made chess board inset into the center. Likely English in origin.

It measures 24 1/4" wide by 26 1/2" tall, with the chess board squares measuring 1 1/2" square.

It is in good overall condition as shown, but does have wear as you can see in the photographs. Some wear to the feed, as shown in the closeup. The oak surface has a few areas of grain raising, some slight leg separation at the base is shown, but it is fully stable, the joints are not loose or wobbly, etc... Overall a very nice table!
