A beautifully aged late 18th century Indian dowry chest crafted from solid teak hardwood with hand-forged iron strapping and brass accents. The piece features beautiful joinery, a hinged lid with iron latch, and original interior compartments. Perfect for storing your keepsakes.

The warm patina and wear patterns throughout the chest speak to its history and utilitarian use, making it a stunning decorative accent for bohemian, eclectic, or wabi-sabi interiors.

It measures 18 1/4" wide, 12 1/2" deep and 7 3/4" tall. It is in good overall condition as you can see in the photographs, with the bottom having some cracking and loss as you can see, but overall nothing that stops normal use.
