Asian Hammered Metal Bronze Oversized urli Vessel with Two Handles India. Very large South Indian hand-hammered solid copper cooking or serving ceremonial platter. Very large hand-hammered solid copper cooking pot from southern India. These pots were originally used for cooking rice and were placed directly on fire and lifted with poles inserted into side handles. Handcrafted copper pot adorned with a variety of geometrical motifs. Very good condition and ready to add to your collection, would be a rustic decorative item in most homes, and would be perfect indoor or outdoor where it would add an exotic touch. Great floating gardens or fire pits. Beautifully patinated and a very finely chased. Handles loop handles are 4".5 Measures: diameter 43" without handles x 5.25" height.
