Oval earthenware platter transfer-printed in blue with chinoiserie garden scene of pagoda, flowering urn, and scrolling floral border, c.1885.

Burgess & Leigh (B&L) of Burslem, Staffordshire, with impressed "B & L" and printed "Celeste England" mark enclosing a diamond with W inside.

9 Â¾ inches wide by 8 inches deep by â…ž inches tall.
