This elegant chandelier has been meticulously and lovingly restored in our Berlin workshop.

All the electrical components have been replaced to meet modern standards, while preserving the chandelier's original character. Each crystal has been hand-knotted, creating an exceptionally vibrant and sparkling play of light.

The frame is crafted from a high-quality blend of metal and brass, giving the chandelier a particularly warm and sophisticated appearance while ensuring stability.

Stylistically, it is a French Directoire chandelier with influences from the late Louis XVI period. Characteristic features include its clean, symmetrical lines, vertically arranged crystal chains, and intricately crafted garlands at the top.

Compared to earlier, more playful designs, this chandelier has a significantly calmer, more structured, and more architectural feel. It is precisely this restraint that lends it its timeless elegance, making it particularly appealing for both classic and contemporary interiors.
