Signed by the artist Paul
French Rococo "Fragonard" design, typically produced in the mid-20th century (1950s–1970s).Scene: The "Courting Couple" or "Love Story" motif shows an 18th-century couple in a pastoral setting.

Features a specific maker's mark associated with Edmé Samson et Cie (often referred to as Samson of Paris). The Left Symbol is a stylized red monogram that mimics early French porcelain marks, a common practice for Samson, who was known for high-quality reproductions and "style of" pieces. "HAND-PAINTED MADE-IN-FRANCE," was a requirement for imported goods to the US and UK after 1891 to denote the country of origin. The Right Symbol: A shield-like crest containing the initials "BW" .This specific "BW" in a shield mark is documented on early-to-mid 20th-century French porcelain.

These marks are typical of Samson of Paris specializing in hand-decorated porcelain "in the style of" famous 18th-century factories like Sèvres or Chantilly.
