Curated set of twelve 19th century English ornithological engravings from Rev. F. O. Morris' "History of British Birds," illustrated by Alexander Francis Lydon and printed by Benjamin Fawcett between 1875 and 1885. Origin labeled on verso of each framed work for provenance.
The collection features coastal and seabird studies including terns, skuas, curlews, shearwaters, and yellow-shanks, all rendered in delicate original hand coloring with refined naturalistic detail.
Original printed titles and plate numbers remain visible below each engraving.
