Description

Large vintage chinoiserie-style urn table lamp featuring hand-painted floral decoration, Sèvres-style scenic cartouches, and antiqued metallic detailing on a dramatic black lacquer ground. The elegant urn-form silhouette, pedestal base, romantic monochromatic landscape panels, and richly painted floral motifs give the lamp the look of fine decorative lacquerware with classic tole-painted and European chinoiserie influence.

The softly aged metallic accents and hand-painted details evoke vintage Chelsea House, Italian Florentine, Maison Jansen, and traditional French and English decorative arts.
