Born in Rio Vista, CA, she attended the Art Institute of Chicago, then the Boston Museum School. She spent most of her life in Wheaton, Illinois where she taught at Wheaton College. She is best known for her illustration, printmaking, etching and sculpture, many appearing in magazines and children's books. *
