Mid 20th Century S. Bent & Bros. Hitchcock Style Bent Back Rocking Chair

Description

Offered is a S. Bent and Brothers rocker in the Hitchcock style. This company was located in Gardner Ma. They made fine heirloom quality furniture from the late 1800's to 2000. This rocker is most likely from the mid 1900's and has its original ebony finish. It is stenciled in the Hitchcock style. It is solid and comfortable. It would fit in well in any traditional American room decor. As with any piece of preowned furniture it does show evidence of wear from use and age showing light scratches and finish rubs. Please look carefully at the photos as they make up an important part of the description. Questions are always welcome.
