On reverse side is company stamp with the words "Florence" and "Parisian Porcelain" - the Florence pattern name referring to a romantic or classical design, while Parisian Porcelain refers to fine quality and desirability. Platters of this size (17"L) were commonly used for large roasts or centerpiece servings.
