1950s Mid-Century Modern Casserole Dish and Stand From the Anker-Line Range

Description

For your consideration, a mid-century modern casserole dish and stand from the Anker-Line range. It was designed in 1954 by the renowned Danish sculptor and industrial designer Jens Quistgaard.
The set includes Casserole Dish. A black, enamel-coated cast iron pot with a matching lid.
A tripod-style server made with teak legs and a frame wrapped in rattan/cane. This "oven-to-table" design was produced in the 1950s for the Danish foundry De Forenede JernstÃ¸berier. Quistgaard, who later became the chief designer for Dansk International Designs, is highly celebrated for blending traditional Danish craftsmanship with industrial materials like cast iron.
