Description
Here is an INCREDIBLE piece designed by George Zee in the 1950's. As you can see, this piece comes with several pieces - a stand, outer container, inner brass liner and two carved wood pieces as the lid/top. It was originally intended as a beverage ice bucket/cooler - which is honestly so cool! I personally love it as a side table (with the lid flipped so the top is flat) or as a planter for a fruit tree - imagine the trunk growing through the top! Whatever you use it for, it's an amazing, rare piece made with superior craftsmanship and materials. The brass on the handles and trim detail is thick, solid and looks excellent. The wood pieces are solid Rosewood and even the liner is brass.
