The Aero Precision X15 receiver set is a forged AR-15 matched upper and lower combination thats widely used as a solid, no-nonsense foundation for custom builds. Its part of Aeros more mil-spec style receiver line (as opposed to the more feature-rich M4E1 series), but still benefits from modern manufacturing improvements like enhanced magwell geometry and tighter fitment standards.

The lower receiver includes an improved magwell flare for easier magazine insertion and features provisions for a tensioning system that helps reduce upper/lower play when assembled. The upper receiver is a standard forged 7075-T6 aluminum design with M4 feed ramps and full compatibility with standard AR-15 components.
