Measuring approximately 12" x 12" and in very good condition, with some signs of scattered wear. Record is included. Accompanied by a JSA authentication Letter of Authenticity (#YY96922). "Yesterday and Today" occupies a unique place in Beatles history due to its infamous original "butcher cover," which depicted the band wearing butcher smocks and surrounded by raw meat and doll parts. Following public backlash, Capitol Records quickly withdrew the image and replaced it with the now-familiar photograph of the group posed around a steamer trunk. Signed in bold black ink by Ringo Starr across his portrait, this piece combines one of the Beatles' most recognizable U.S. releases with an autograph from a band member whose signatures on Beatles material remain highly sought after by collectors.
