Description

Chinese early bone carved cricket cage, traditionally used to catch and house crickets to enjoy their song. Intricately incised details include two women seated in long flowing robes among grass and trees, with another woman etched on the other side looking on. Lid is carved from wood with a openwork panel to the top depicting a ferocious four clawed dragon. Size 5 1/2" H
