Superb curated collection of the stamps of Turkey both mint and used. The collection starts in 1863 with Scott #1 and goes through at least 1918. While not complete, the vast majority are present for the spaces provided on the album pages present. Included are numerous overprints runs, back of book, military stamps and a considerable collection of local stamps, many of them having homemade pages. This is a superb early collection of the stamps of Turkey carefully and thoughtfully assembled. The stamps are housed in Green Scott album showing wear consistent with age.
