Description
An assortment of early 20th-century American carnival glass featuring several distinct patterns and forms. The collection includes a creamer in the Maple Leaf pattern, featuring raised foliage on a stippled or cracked ice background with an amethyst base and heavy multi-color iridescence; this pattern is attributed to the Northwood Glass Company or Dugan-Diamond. A tumbler in the Fashion pattern, attributed to the Imperial Glass Company, displays a geometric design of hobstars and cross-hatching with a vibrant electric blue iridescent finish. A mug in the Beaded Shell pattern, attributed to the Imperial Glass Company, features a central shell motif with beaded ribs and a rustic, twig-like handle over an amethyst base with smoke-toned iridescence. The group also contains an Orange Tree pattern mug, attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company, showing stylized fruit trees and a geometric border on a cobalt blue base with a silvery-bronze iridescent coating. All items are manufactured using pressed glass techniques and feature molded starburst or geometric designs on the bases. No maker marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces.
