1807 US Draped Bust Half Cent

Description

1807 US Draped Bust half cent, copper composition. The obverse features the Draped Bust Liberty motif with the date 1807 and the LIBERTY inscription. The reverse displays the HALF CENT denomination within a wreath, with the fraction 1/200 located below the bow and the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the perimeter. The specimen features a circular hole drilled through the upper center of the obverse planchet.

Diameter: 23.5 mm. Heavily circulated with a chocolate-brown patina. Design elements and legends exhibit significant smoothing from wear. The coin is holed through the planchet. Surface abrasions, scratches, and minor edge bruising are present.
