Antique Majolica Strawberry Pattern Water Pitcher

Description

7 1/2" tall majolica water pitcher with strawberry plant details on both sides and orange peel textured finish. It is pale yellow with burgundy strawberries, green leaves and white flowers and has a branch shaped handle. It has an urn shaped backstamp in a similar style to a traditional English registry mark but the inner marks are obscured by crazing. It also has three small flower imprints and is hand signed with the initials J.K.
