Pair of 19th century French gilt bronze vases or cachepots (planters) in the French Empire style, circa 1880s, distinguished by their cold-painted Egyptian designs in red, gold and black.

Condition:
Alterations: Original Design Modified
Imperfections: Some Imperfections
Condition Notes: Rubbing and oxidation wear to the gilt bronze surfaces, consistent with age. A few small areas of loss to the cold-painted surfaces, including one spot on each, about 3/4 inch across, with imperfect inpainting.
