Haviland Limoges Silver Anniversary Tea Cups & Saucers Set of 32

Description

A set of 32 porcelain tea or coffee cups with matching saucers by the Haviland Company in the Silver Anniversary pattern featuring a gold scalloped trim. This pattern was produced from 1903 - 1931, and it was one of the most popular and collected patterns in the company's history. Also known as Schleiger #19.
The Haviland Company was founded by David Haviland in 1843 in Limoges, France. "He perfected decorative techniques and equipped his factory with revolutionary machines. In 1864 Haviland became the most important French porcelain manufacturer". "...Haviland has successfully continued to reinvent the soul of porcelain by transmitting an ancestral know-how in Limoges."
