Description
A lovely antique circa 1920s heavy silver plated champagne bucket from The Anthony hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In excellent condition structurally, no big dents or damage, just small surface marks, bumps, and signs of use you would expect from old hotel silver that was used daily. The silver plating has some wear and surface bubbling (especially on the sides and back) but has otherwise polished up very nicely. I've left a little bit of tarnish to highlight the issues with the plating, it will polish up a bit more than shown in photos. Made by Reed & Barton, marked on the base with the hotel name, and on the front with the Wayne family crest (Fort Wayne Indiana originally started as a military for created by revolutionary war General Anthony Wayne, so I assume this crest is in honor of the "founder" of their city).
Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 8.25 inches wide at the top, 9.5 inches wide across the handles. Thus heavy, hotel weight bucket weighs nearly 6 pounds empty!

Alterations: Original Condition Unaltered
Imperfections: Some Imperfections
