Seikosha, which translates to House of Precision, produced the first timepieces that bore the official brand name on their dials in the early 1900s. The company continued to evolve and eventually merged two of its famous operating factories Suwa Seikosha and Daini Seikosha)into what is known today as the Seiko Epson Corporation
